Tackle Now Supports OpenID Connect (OIDC)

Tackle customers count on the Tackle Platform to integrate seamlessly with their enterprise software stack. They’re quick to remind us that it’s not enough just to deliver our core Cloud GTM functionality, we need to match or exceed their standard for enterprise software. The Tackle Platform was designed to integrate with several ecosystems, like AWS, Microsoft, Google Cloud, and Salesforce. Much like how we meet customers where they are in their cloud journey, we also need to work the way they work. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce that Tackle customers can now integrate any identity provider that supports OpenID Connect (OIDC) for Single Sign-On (SSO) with the Tackle Platform.

Security, flexibility, and efficiency are major concerns for enterprises worldwide. As businesses increasingly rely on software platforms to streamline operations and facilitate collaboration, the need for strong authentication mechanisms becomes ever more critical. It makes it much easier to verify user identity using authentication done in an interoperable and REST-like way.  With the introduction of OIDC support for SSO, we’re further enhancing our platform’s enterprise readiness, empowering organizations to harness the full potential of modern authentication technologies, like Ping Identity, Microsoft Entra ID, and JumpCloud. If you leverage an identity provider that is OIDC compliant, you can simply set up Tackle in your identity provider and place the client ID and issuer URL in the SSO area of our User Management tab.

We’re excited to deliver OIDC, the first of many enterprise readiness features the Tackle Product and Engineering team plans to roll out in the coming months.
