The Tackle Reel: June Product Updates

Here’s how we made Cloud GTM easier this month

Whether it’s reducing friction in co-sell workflows, helping teams close deals faster through the marketplaces, or making sure your systems stay in sync—Tackle is building with one goal in mind: to make your Cloud GTM operations simpler, smarter, and easier to scale.

Here’s a glimpse at what we’ll cover:

  • A re-imagined Tackle for Salesforce experience
  • Expanding Microsoft support for co-sell and private offers
  • Small updates with big impacts
  • Where to catch us this summer

A re-imagined Tackle for Salesforce experience

We rebuilt our Salesforce integration with a clear approach: make it easier for revenue teams to sell through the marketplace without disrupting their existing workflows.

Whether you’re sharing opportunities with cloud sellers or creating private offers for your customers, Tackle for Salesforce delivers a seamless experience that’s fully integrated with how your team already sells. Here’s a few reasons why you’ll love it:

  • Set up in under an hour (seriously, we timed it!)
  • No more copy-pasting between Salesforce and cloud portals, we sync the data for you
  • Bulk operations because nobody has time to create 50 co-sells one by one

What’s available now in Tackle for Salesforce

  • Set-up and simplified implementation: Connect your Tackle account with one click, add a centralized Tackle command center to your opportunity page, and let intelligent field mapping sync your CRM fields with cloud provider requirements—co-sell submissions, updates, and offer creation.
  • Smarter prospecting identification: Auto-score opportunities with custom rules and bulk identify high-propensity marketplace buyers across AWS, Google, and Microsoft.
  • Co-sell without the chaos: Automate your full AWS co-sell lifecycle in Salesforce with bulk creation, real-time syncing of revenue, sales stage, close dates, and auto-close on win/loss.
  • AWS private offers made simple: Create, amend, and associate direct and partner offers with full SaaS subscription support (even Paygo), plus draft and test everything in your Tackle Sandbox before going live.

Expanding Microsoft support for co-sell and private offers

There’s lots of Microsoft marketplace momentum over here! We’re testing two major enhancements for Microsoft sellers that bring the same speed and simplicity you expect from Tackle.

Microsoft Co-sell

  • Create, update, and close Microsoft co-sell opportunities without leaving Salesforce
  • Utilize intelligent field mapping to align Salesforce fields to required co-sell form fields
  • Enjoy near real-time Microsoft Partner Center sync
  • Estimate revenue and close dates as deals progress with auto-updates
  • Identify when Azure committed spend can accelerate a deal with MACC visibility during co-sell creation

Microsoft Offers

  • Create custom plans, flexible billing schedules (yes, you read that right!) and extended duration lengths (4 & 5 years)
  • Save offers as drafts and import existing offers from Partner Center
  • Receive enhanced offer tracking notifications—no buyer tenant ID required

These Microsoft capabilities are in controlled preview with select customers. If Microsoft is part of your Cloud GTM strategy, these features will be generally available very soon!

Small updates with big impacts

  • Faster co-sell analytics: A more responsive co-sell dashboard experience for tracking shared opportunities and reporting is now live in the Tackle Platform.
  • Smarter Google deals, lower fees: Tackle now supports Deal Type mapping for Google Private Offers, helping sellers reduce fees to as low as 1.5%.
  • Improved AWS connection process: New customers can connect their Tackle account to AWS Marketplace and/or AWS Partner Central in just a few clicks.

For more information on all of these updates, see the full release notes here.
