At Tackle, we’ve always believed in simplifying Cloud Go-To-Market operations for software vendors and AWS partners. That’s why we built the Tackle Cloud GTM Platform Salesforce App—a tool designed to help businesses drive their entire Cloud GTM strategy, including AWS buyer intent data and managing AWS Marketplace and AWS co-sell operations directly from Salesforce.
Tackle’s product and engineering teams prioritize making the AWS co-sell experience in Salesforce smoother and more automated while lowering the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). There are several ways we go about doing this. First, Tackle works closely with AWS to convey our Cloud GTM expertise to their product planning process and amplify our customers’ business needs to help inform their roadmap. When AWS releases new functionality and innovation, Tackle utilizes it to ensure we’re always working to make AWS co-sell easier, more automated, and less expensive.
Drive your entire AWS Marketplace and AWS co-sell business directly from Salesforce
The AWS co-sell process can require redundant, manual work, context switching, and multiple tools, all of which introduce possible errors and inefficiencies. At Tackle, we’ve worked hard to make AWS GTM efforts smoother, automated, and efficient.
- Tackle Prospect: Prospect enables AWS co-sellers to assess AWS buyer intent within Salesforce. Understanding buyer intent before sharing a deal with AWS helps sellers make more informed co-sell decisions, increasing the likelihood of a successful partnership.
- Enriching Salesforce Opportunities: Once you share a deal with AWS, you can enrich Salesforce opportunities with complementary AWS data and additional deal context. This ensures your team has the most up-to-date information to close deals faster.
- AWS Marketplace Private Offers: You can create AWS Marketplace private offers directly from Salesforce, independently, or with a channel partner, making the entire process more seamless and integrated.
This week at re:Invent, Tackle takes the latest step in this mission, announcing new and updated Cloud GTM functionality designed for AWS ISV partners. These Tackle features and programs give your team everything it will need to find customers, drive AWS Marketplace deals, and co-sell with AWS—directly from Salesforce.
Tackle’s New Salesforce App Delivers Even Better Efficiency, Flexibility, and Automation
Building on our existing functionality, we’re excited to announce Tackle’s new Cloud GTM Platform Salesforce App, which is available in Private Preview. This new app builds on our “Drive all of your Cloud GTM through Salesforce” mantra by introducing several key features aimed at enhancing Cloud GTM efficiency, flexibility, and automation:
- Event-Based Architecture: No more waiting for sync processes. The app’s event-based architecture instantly reflects opportunity changes in your Salesforce CRM and AWS partner portals, ensuring that everyone involved in the deal has the most up-to-date information at all times.
- Tackle Co-Sell Co-Pilot: Tackle Co-Sell Co-Pilot eliminates hours of manual work, significantly reducing the resources needed to orchestrate co-sell operations. Bulk-load deals that are automatically formatted precisely the way you need them. Drive (even large) batches of co-sell deals concurrently, run predefined playbooks and sales scenarios and automate bulk lead management—all from Salesforce.
This level of automation dramatically reduces the resources required to orchestrate co-sell operations, making it easier to scale your efforts and lowering your Cloud GTM TCO. Additionally, by reducing the need for native Salesforce workflow development and eliminating unnecessary security reviews, you can make business-level changes without relying on technical resources.
Making It Easier for Customers to Buy
In the age of Product-Led Growth (PLG), many software companies are focusing on improving customers’ buying experiences. Buyers today expect a consumer-like experience: simple, intuitive, and seamless. Meeting customers where and how they buy is a key factor in Cloud GTM success.
Tackle helps you achieve this by allowing your AWS customers to transact in multiple currencies, reducing friction and shielding them from currency fluctuations. This flexibility enhances the global buying experience and ensures a smoother path to purchase for customers worldwide.
Introducing “Marketplace Anywhere” and Tackle Pay
Tackle has introduced the “Marketplace Anywhere” customer engagement model to streamline the buying process further. This allows software teams to offer more flexible buying options that can be used across different digital storefronts. Whether customers purchase through AWS or directly on your site, you can create a seamless and portable buying experience. One of the Marketplace Anywhere concepts is the new Tackle Pay, which allows you to add a “Buy Now” button to any web property. This simple call-to-action can drive immediate conversions, making it easier than ever for potential customers to purchase without unnecessary delays.
“The way prospects investigate solutions and reach the buying stage is shifting rapidly, and meeting customers where they are on their buyer’s journey is increasingly important,” said Jont Kingsep, Founder and CEO of Northbound Solutions, a Tackle channel partner. “We’re excited to utilize Tackle Pay to provide a convenient and direct way to procure our services through literally any purchasing vehicle.”
Helping ISVs Accelerate Growth with AWS ISV Accelerate Program
The AWS ISV Accelerate (ISVA) Program connects software vendors with AWS sellers to drive co-sell and accelerate sales cycles. For ISVs looking to scale growth quickly in the AWS ISV Accelerate Program, Tackle offers a unique program that builds on our expertise in Cloud GTM and SaaS startups. Through our Accelerate² program, Tackle helps ISVs qualify for and join AWS ISVA faster, unlocking access to pre-existing cloud budgets and contracts.
From initial transactions to multi-million-dollar deals, Tackle provides ISVs with powerful tools to drive significant revenue through AWS Marketplace connections, ACE-integrated co-selling, and buyer insights attached directly to Salesforce opportunities.
“We’ve reduced opportunity sharing time with AWS and ACE by up to 50 percent with the Tackle ACE CRM integration. We’ve been able to better scale our co-selling with AWS because of that. Tackle helps us co-sell from start to finish.” – Jessica Fong, Senior Cloud Alliances Manager at Starburst
By eliminating manual processes and streamlining co-sell workflows, Tackle has helped companies like Starburst scale their co-selling efforts and drive growth more efficiently.
